角松 生史

Narufumi Kadomatsu is a Professor of Administrative Law at the Graduate School of Law, Kobe University. After graduating from the University of Tokyo in 1986, he received a Master’s and Doctorate at the Graduate School at the University of Tokyo. He also worked as a Research Associate at the Institute of Social Science, University of Tokyo. He was appointed as Associate Professor at Kyushu University in 1996 and at Kobe University as a Professor in 2005. He also studied for one year at the University of Hamburg (1998-1999) and taught Japanese Law at the University of Munich (2003-2004).

His research mainly focuses on city planning law and land use regulations as well other fields of administrative law. Most of his articles are in Japanese but he also published in English : "The right to be informed--the obligation for providing information " (2002), "Recent Development of Decentralization, Deregulation and Citizens' Participation in Japanese city Planning Law" (2007), "Judicial Governance Through Resolution of Legal Disputes?—A Japanese Perspective" (2009), "The Rise and Fall of the 'Relationship of Reciprocal Interchangeability' Theory in Japan'" (2010), "Accountability of Administration in Japan after the Mid-1990s" (2011).
